TeamSLR’s remarkable TA2 championship run reached its peak at Barber Motorsports Park, where 15-year-old Tristan McKee secured the title with a dominant victory and one race still remaining.
As a proud partner, NOMOTORSPORTS is honored to have supported TeamSLR throughout this milestone season. Working alongside a program known for developing racing’s rising stars has been a meaningful part of our growth in the sport.
We look forward to continuing this partnership into the future and building on a championship year that reflects the best of what both teams strive to achieve.
On October 19, I took part in my first TA2 race at Barber Motorsports Park. New track, and also a lot of excitement.
Barber’s a super fun place to drive - really smooth, really technical, and it keeps you on your toes. I’d done some prep beforehand, so I showed up feeling ready, but the track still had plenty to teach me. Overall, it was an awesome experience.
On September 20, I took part in my first TA2 race at Virginia International Raceway. It was my debut in the series and an exciting step forward in my racing journey. The weekend brought a lot of new experiences, and every session was a chance to grow.
VIR is a challenging track, but after my earlier test there, I felt more prepared and confident heading into the race. It was an unforgettable experience and a solid starting point for what’s ahead.
On August 31, I had the chance to test the TA2 car at VIR. It was my first time driving this track, and at first it felt pretty intimidating. As the day went on, I started to settle in, build confidence, and get a better feel for the flow of the circuit.
This test was an important step for me, and it set the stage for what’s next. I’m planning to return at the end of September to take part in the TA2 race at VIR, and I’m looking forward to putting what I learned into practice.
At NoMotorsports, we’re proud to support AM Racing and Harrison Burton in his 2025 Xfinity Series season. Driving the No. 25 Ford Mustang, Harrison secured a spot in the playoffs, and it’s been rewarding to contribute behind the scenes as the team worked toward that goal. We’re glad to play a role in Harrison’s journey this season and look forward to continuing the partnership as the playoffs get underway.
On June 14–15, I competed in the SCCA Time Attack Challenge at Carolina Motorsports Park. It was a good chance to test myself and the car in a competitive setting.
I finished the weekend in second place. Getting on the podium was a solid result, but the biggest takeaway was the experience I gained and the lessons learned. Each event helps me improve, and I’m looking forward to building on this progress in the next one.
Just finished my third practice test in the TA2 car at CMP.
Every session is teaching me something new, and I’m starting to feel more comfortable in the car. There’s still a lot to learn, but I’m excited about the progress and can’t wait to keep pushing
Back at Carolina Motorsports Park for the second TA2 test. The car felt more dialed in this time, and I’m thrilled to say I managed to shave some time off my laps.
It’s always exciting to see the progress and keep pushing for faster times. I’ve uploaded some photos and videos from the test, so you can follow along with the action. Looking forward to the next round of testing as we prepare for the season ahead!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to test a TA2 car for the very first time at Carolina Motorsports Park, and what an experience it was!
The sheer power and handling of the car were exhilarating, and getting behind the wheel was a dream come true.
The session was all about familiarizing myself with the car, understanding its dynamics, and getting comfortable with the setup.
Looking forward to building on this experience as we prepare for the next session.
The 2024 Indy 500 was an unforgettable experience! Being part of the GM team supporting Team Penske and witnessing Joseph Newgarden’s incredible victory was truly special.
The energy at the Speedway was electric, and seeing all the hard work and innovation come together on race day was inspiring. Moments like these remind me why I love motorsport and how teamwork drives success at the highest levels.
Proud to have played a small part in this historic win!
I took my C6 Corvette out for some testing at Carolina Motorsports Park and Charlotte Motor Speedway, and it was great. The car felt solid on both tracks, and I really enjoyed exploring its potential in different environments.
I’ve put together some videos from both days so you can check out the action—they’re up now on my YouTube channel. Hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed driving!
Let me know what you think in the comments—always happy to chat about cars and track days.

Go-karting has been a constant in my life, and it’s a passion that has only grown stronger over the years. From my very first laps as a kid to testing various chassis and engines over the years, every moment behind the wheel has been unforgettable.
I’ve had the privilege to drive so many incredible setups—everything from Rotax and Honda to KZ2, each with its own unique character and challenges.
Even today, with all the racing opportunities I’ve experienced, karting remains one of my favorite activities.
Being part of the Formula SAE team at UNCC was one of the most fun experiences of my college years. Working alongside a talented group of students to design, build, and compete with our own formula-style car was incredible and rewarding.
The highlight of our journey was competing at the Formula SAE event in Michigan. I’m proud of what we accomplished as a team and grateful for the memories that continue to fuel my passion for motorsport today.
